Our review process
From application pack to readiness note
A transparent path for sharing documents, testing assumptions and deciding what must be resolved before your next application step.
01 · A short suitability call
We begin with a 20-minute call about the franchise, your application stage, the documents available and the decision ahead. This is not a sales assessment of the opportunity. It lets us determine whether a focused check, full review or later start date would be useful.
02 · Written scope and secure intake
Your engagement letter names the applicant, review boundaries, fee, timing and expected output. We then request only the records needed for the agreed work. Typical items include the franchise disclosure document, establishment-cost schedule, proof of available contribution, liabilities, draft projections and finance correspondence.
03 · Reconciliation and pressure testing
The reviewer traces material figures to their source, distinguishes settled facts from estimates and considers how lower sales, delayed opening or higher once-off costs would affect the reserve. Questions are sent in one organised clarification round where possible.
04 · Findings meeting
We explain the observations without technical theatre. You hear what appears supported, what conflicts, which gaps are material and which questions belong with another professional. The meeting is also your opportunity to correct context that documents alone could not show.
05 · Written readiness note
The final note records scope, documents considered, assumptions, readiness observations and prioritised next actions. It can help you prepare for later conversations, but it is addressed to you and is not a lender assurance report or statutory audit.
Document care
Do not email identity documents or unrestricted bank records before an engagement is agreed. We provide secure transfer instructions and encourage redaction of unrelated transactions and unnecessary personal identifiers. Review files are retained only for the period described in our privacy notice.
